5 Things To Do To Make Your Wedding Hairstyle Last

Setting yourself up for a perfect hair day starts long before I put in the bobby pins.

  1. Start with the right prep.
Wash hair the day before, but skip the extra oils, leave in conditioners and heavy products please.
  2. Choose a hairstyle that works with your hair length, thickness and texture. If you have super thin, fine hair- we likely won’t be doing a loose boho braid. Let’s work with your natural hair not against it.
  3. Weather proof your look.
Humidity, wind, and sweat can wreak havoc on your bridal hairstyle, so we need to protect it against these natural disasters.
Anti humidity sprays, hidden bobby pins and spray wax go a long way for this without leaving hair feeling gross, sticky or stiff.
  4. Accessorize with Intention
Veils, clips and crowns are all beautiful but can pull on the hairstyle or before uncomfortable if not secured properly. It’s very important to bring these things to trial so we can test them for endurance, stability and comfort.
  5. Bring either the mini touch-up kit or your My Mane Essentials Kit that I gave you for touchups during the day, as even the best styles may need a touch-up later on.

Your wedding hair should feel as strong and beautiful as you are. Reach out anytime, id love to make that happen for you for your special day.
