How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
So-here i am unwinding on a rainy spring morning on my back deck, simosa at my side, listening to the waterfall above the fishpond and watching the birds on my new birdfeeder.

This is just what I needed.
Nothingness, but a feeling of abundance ❤️
As I rock in my chair I take a sip and scan my backyard, thankful for all of the green now! All the roses are coming up, the hostas are big and flourishing now, the geranium are pumping out the vibrant reds and the banana trees are gaining ground again.
It’s exciting to watch the garden grow but peaceful at the same time.
So I pick up my phone to check into my jetpack-it tells me how many visitors I’ve had to my website and I was curious to see…..so just 2.
Next I looked at my notification to write today and it had a suggested topic, guess what it was?
How do you know when it’s time to unplug? And I thought ok, how did i know i needed to schedule this day of nothing?
How i knew i needed this day, this moment in pj’s and a mimosa, is that random things made me cry, minor setbacks seemed overwhelming and small annoyances seemed to make me angry.
If you feel any or all of those things, I encourage you to step back and relax for a day.
Unplug, go for a walk or spend time in your backyard in nature, in pjs sipping mimosas and writing.
Paint, read, listen to music, go to an activity or stillness even, whereever you feel peace.
Love you all, and I hope you have the best day ❤️
