Bridal hair prep

Prepping hair for wedding

First id like to say congratulations to you, as I’m sure most of you reading this will be getting married soon.

Getting your hair ready for wedding day begins way before the wedding day.

Your bridal hair trial should be about a month before the wedding. This is a huge step, as it will give you a chance to see and feel how your style will look on you. Bridal trial gives you an opportunity to test run your accessories and make sure everything will be perfect. You will get a video and pictures to save or share. You will be given a timeline as well. This is important for the wedding day to run smoothly as possible.

If you are getting color done, get it done about 2-3 weeks before the wedding. This allows time to get in a few conditioning masks to help repair it from the service and also allows time for any corrections if needed.

Please keep your hair trimmed regularly as split ends look aweful, no matter the products. You will be happy you did, as your hair will be long and strong.

Hair masks, yes please! Do one a week the last 2 weeks before the wedding date. This will help repair, nourish, strengthen and reduce frizz for the big day.

On the days of bridal trial and wedding day  please be on your best hair day. For some, that means washing it that day. For some, it’s the next day or even day 2. Everyone is different, so I can’t tell you this part. You know when your hair looks and feels best.

Please have no products in your hair, as i need to see your natural texture to know which products and techniques I will use.

Bridal trial is fun! You get pampered, will look amazing, and feel like a bride. It’s such a special time, and I’m so excited to be here to help you along through your journey to forever 💗

Love Joey
