What’s your dream job?
My dream job is a bridal stylist and hairdresser. I love everything about weddings and being a part of making someone feel and look more beautiful than ever when they need it the most.
From the moment a bride walks in the room, my mind is spinning with ideas, my heart beats a little faster, and my imagination races with ideas in full tilt, like a porche with no brakes.
There’s an excitement when a bride has long hair, or thick or curly….really I’m happy to work with all hair types.
Being imaginative with hair and creating elegant, timeless updos, I find it incredibly fun, eating and exciting. IT’s a relaxing feeling. One of peace, happiness, and content. Creating formal styles is something i love and practice on a regular basis to grow my skills.
When I hand the bride the mirror and she sees herself for the first time, it’s that magic moment that she smiles…..and I know she likes what she sees. That’s the moment I fall in love with my craft again and again.
As a hairdresser, I love it when a client has a problem with the hair that i can solve. I love to create new shapes and styles to enhance their natural beauty and texture of the hair and personality.
When people are sick, it’s an amazing feeling to go and give them a haircut, a shave, a new look even to help them feel better, have some laughs and conversation. It feels amazing to have a hair wash when you’ve been sick, and I’m happy to do an extra head scrub.
Being a bridal stylist allows me to connect with brides, really help to calm and encourage them sometimes, and to be there to help make their dreams come true for hair.
Being a hairdresser allows me to connect with people in my chair, bring out their natural beauty, and bring out their natural confidence and smile.
I love what I do. This is my dream job. Bringing out the best in others. They say when you find something you love, chase it…..and I intend to. ❤️
